Charlie Zagaroli graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree focusing on furniture design. He then began working as product designer for Bernhardt Design with the in-house design team in Lenoir, NC. For over two years he assisted in the design and engineering of a wide range of upholstery and case goods products. In 2002 he joined his father, David Zagaroli, in his established freelance design firm Zagaroli & Company. Zagaroli & Company has been creating furniture designs for more than 30 years and is working with many diverse companies providing new products ranging from residential upholstery and wood case goods to contract lounge, guest and executive task chairs. Charlie's education was rooted in the craft of furniture making, designing and building one of kind sculptural products. This knowledge in addition to being surrounded by the furniture industry as a child in Hickory, has allowed him to take a more artful approach to a mass produced product.
